Any sport, championship game or playoff round. What would you say are your top 5?

For me

1. Game 4 2004 ALCS - Sox/Yankees... outs away from being swept and once again being labeled with a curse and more stigma after the team assembled that year. The sox take it to extras in epic fashion off Rivera and force Game 5, the rest is history.

2. AFC Dvisional Playoff Game 2005 Steelers/Colts.... Bettis Fumbles near the goaline almost costing his team the game. Big Ben saves a touchdown and the Colts lose at home with a bye week. The refs nearly cost the Steelers earlier in the game with a controversal INT call that they muffed on. One of the most memorable playoff games I've ever seen.

3. 2002 Wildcard Round Browns/Steelers and Giants/49ers...both great miracle comebacks. Steelers and 49ers rally at home.

4. Game 5 2004 NBA Playoffs Lakers/Spurs....Derek Fisher with a miracle shot off the inbound with mircroseconds remaining gets the Lakers the all important game 5 win on the road. I can still remember the call from Al Micheals 'HE SCORES, DEREK FISHER AT THE BUZZER'.

5. 1967 NFL Championship Game aka 'Ice Bowl' Cowboys/Packers....everytime I watch this game on tv when they show it. I say to myself, now thats football and the conditions in which those guys played in that day were absolutely abmisal. Truly one of the great oldschool games ever.

I'm gonna go with Flyers vs Pittsburgh in playoff game back in 2000 that went for 5 OT and was finally won on a goal by Keith Primeau. I believe if i'm right that the final score in that game was 2-1 also i'm gonna say that Game 6 of Flyers vs Tampa Bay that was won in OT by Philly the crowd went insane from that shots of the stand's i'm sure there's so many more though.

nice thread ReD.

I hate your #4 by the way... Here's My Order.

#1 Steelers Vs. Seahawks SuperBowl XL - I finally got to see my team in the superbowl and when they won was the best feeling!

#2 Houston Astros Vs. Atlanta Braves Game 4 2004 - I still remember this game, 18 innings!! Astros Winning by one of the score of 7-6 with Chris Burke Hitting the Homer.

#3 New York Giants Vs. New England Patriots Superbowl - This was also one of my best moments. I needed the Pats to lose or I would never hear the end of it by my friends. It was good to see all of their faces in disappointment!! :D

#4 San Antonio Spurs Vs. Phoenix Suns Game 1 2008 - That Game had me on my seat! Back and Forth, it was such a entertaining game!

#5 Pitt. Steelers Vs Colts AFC Dvisional Playoff Game 2005 - I remember almost having a heart attack when Bettis fumbled the ball, I remember I was on the phone when that happen and I almost nearly cried. Glad the Kicker Choked!!!

I remember getting home from work and the game was at the point I think where Manning was sacked by Porter and they either punted or Manning threw an INT couldnt remember which. That was followed by watching the Bettis drive which led to the fumble. When the fumble happened I was basically going nutz too. I think the Pats had already been eliminated the day in Denver. The only thing sweeter was watching the Colts choke it way with Vanderboozer.
