A man is released from prison after serving four years for murdering an elderly woman. He quickly begins to feel the compulsion to kill again. After failing to murder a cab driver, he flees and discovers a secluded rural home, where a young woman lives with her sick mother and retarded brother. He then begins to take out his sadistic pleasures on them, attempting to hold them hostage, while thinking of his troubled childhood with his abusive mother and grandmother...

was Fantastic..the self narration was perfect for this. Camera work..oh yes..I loved it. Kept me connected with my screen...only an hour and 25 mins and I was hooked every sec. The facial look on the killer..priceless, I saw and felt what he was feeling inside...the desire and lust to kill. 8/10.

This is a different movie. Very original in the way that shows how a murderer thinks and acts. Everything is weird, but hooked like no other. The kind of movies I enjoy most.

@ Singapore Sling. What release of this movie did you see??

A cool thing is that the killer lied to the psychiatrists in prison, saying his dreams consisted only of flowers. That's probably why he was released earlier because they weren't aware which sick thoughts were actually going through his head the whole time.
It's amazing how nearly instantanenously after being a "free man" his desire to kill overcomes him :elstare:
All in all a brilliant movie.

The truth is that I do not know the version I saw, I simply download from the internet, all I can say is it was pretty graphic. Why? There are several versions of it?

I was just curious because I'm not aware of a version with English subs. But the version you saw must of had them or else you wouldn't have understood shit. My dvd only has German audio.
