Earlier this year at a sci-fi con, I met Ellen Muth, the star of Dead Like Me... I didn't really chat with her, just sort of shook hands and said hi... Then, months later, I checked out her show. I kinda wished I'd watched it before I met her, then I could have told her how much I enjoyed her work.

I just finished watching the final episode and it saddens me that the show was canceled. What a neat damn show it was... The idea of the show was nothing too original but the cast and the storylines were just fun to watch.

I've been reading here and there that a Dead Like Me movie is on its way.... I'd love to see it, but I can't see how the series can be wrapped up in a nice pretty bow within the space of an hour and a half... hopefully it is a matter of perhaps kicking the series off anew.

Anyhoo... anybody else enjoy this quirky little morbid series?

Good show, but didn't like Ellen Muth that much just because she's kinda weird looking :ahheh:

Anyway, a movie has been shot and is going straight to DVD:

Apparently it was supposed to get a release this year, but was pushed back for some reason. Hopefully it's to reshoot or something, because from what I've heard, the script isn't great and the Daisy character is played by another actress, which sucks, so it'd be nice to see reshoots with the regular chick.

I always tried to get into this show. Something always got in the way of me watching an ep.

I used to have a friend that was obessed with the show. I've seen one or two episodes; they were pretty good. I'll have to watch more.

I loved the series. I had season 1 on DVD, but I sold it for cash. It's a great watch and I love George (Ellen Muth)! She was a smart ass and completely unemotional at points. Mandy Patinkin, Callum Blue, and Jasmine Guy were all great. Laura Harris' Daisy Addair was kind of a whore and I didn't like her. I enjoyed Rebecca Gayheart better. She seemed like a whore but in a sweet way. I haven't seen Season 2 yet.

I had no idea it was canceled. That's pretty sad. This show was really addicting and pretty funny.

I saw the first season of the show on DVD a long time ago. I thought it was pretty good. I kind of forgot about it though and never got around to watching the second season when it came out.

Bring on the movie I say
The series was touching on some great ideas but got cut short so if it's popular and there's more movies/a new series that's more than fine with me

I missed the ENTIRE second season and was so mad at myself, I felt I was the one viewer who could've saved the show! Dammnnn you.

I was there every night it came out til my fucking subscription ended, and it fucked pissed me off, and this was before TV was watchable on the Internet
