I grew up on Fangoria. Always tried to grab a copy when I saw it.
Until I ran across Rue Morgue Magazine. To me its Rue Morgue all the way.
Less ass kissing of bad horror movies. Less 8 page artilcles on sci-fi original crap.
If a movie sucks, Rue Morgue will be happy to tell you.
For the last 3 yrs Ive been a Rue Morgue Desciple and Im not turning back.

Haven't looked at any of these in years.
Magazines just got too damn expensive, especially considering what's available online.

ya got that right! I was at books-a-million yesterday and thought, "hey! I haven't picked up a copy of Fango in years... maybe I'll grab one."
Then I saw the price and said "hell no."
$8.99 for a FUCKING MAGAZINE!!! Since when does a MAGAZINE cost more than a NOVEL?!!!!
Back when I had a subscription for fango back in highschool, it broke down to like 2 bucks an issue....
god damn I'm old...

Never read any of these mags. The only place I've ever come for my horror movie needs is this lovely place I like to think of as home good ol' UHM.

Same here. It kills some time and you gain some info when you've got nothing to do.
I prefer Rue Morgue.

I have a sub to Fango, but it honestly sucks ass. They review shitty movies and give the shitty movies huge articles I scan through.
Im going to sub to RM when Fango runs out.
I LOVE Ultra Violent magazine, I know the writers, great bunch of guys. Check em out if you can.

I went to the website for Ultra Violet. It said on the front page:
Exclusive Interviews:
Uwe Boll: The unfairly maligned director of films such as BloodRayne and Postal speaks about his unconventional career in his longest print interview to date.

Totally agree about Fango. Who needs 6 pages of behind the scenes antics
in the latest straight to dvd Robert Englund directed trash.
Ive been subscribing to RM for three years now and Im way happier with it.
Even though it is Canadian.:shrugs:

Rue Morgue is the shiznit. Wish I still had a subscription. Fangoria is ok but I usually just flip through it at the rack and that's about it.

Some of you guys seem to miss the point of magazines. They are meant to be read on the shitter, unless you have a laptop you bring with you so you can browse UHM then more power to you. That being said I only have room for Guns N Ammo and Game Informer in my bathroom.

I don't have subscriptions to any of these horror mags. Though if I really want one, I could also go to the franchise bookstores and pick up a copy or two.

Since Fangoria past issues burned, keep your issues locked up guys!!!
What's happening with Rue Morgue?
I tried to get a past issue and those asswholes wanted to sell it at 200$:finger3:
I'm mad of horror but not ready to pay 200$+Shipping for a past issue!
Good talk!
