Just curious if anyone's gonna be picking this game up in a couple weeks or will be checking out the beta next week? I'm gonna try to do the beta (if any are still available). Would be nice to group up with some UHMers :hmmm:

MMOs have irritated me a bit too much lately, so I am taking a break from them and enjoying the upcoming arrivals to the 360 and PS3. But, Warhammer is one of the MMOs in development I have been tracking. Hope it doesnt fall flat like Conan...

my hand's gonna be close to my wallet the day this comes out...I want to buy it, but at the same time, really don't want to have to spend all that time on an MMO right now...decisions, decisions..

I'm at a crossroad myself. I think I might enjoy this game but at the same time I have tons of other games I need to play and MMOs don't allow you any time for that. I also have to consider I don't have as much time to play an MMO like I used to. maybe if I saw a gameplay video I might go for it but as of now I'm avoiding this title lol

If anyone's interested in taking part in the beta that's opening tomorrow (I think), you can get free beta keys here: http://www.warcry.com/contests/register/warhammerbeta

It's for a limited time only, so get'em while they last! Just got mine earlier and activated it. Now I just have to wait a few hours to download the beta client :myhead:

I fully intend to pick it up and at least try it for the first month and see how I feel about it. My friend and I are gonna get it opening day. I can't wait to be a freaken Witch Hunter. The name alone just sounds promising.

Played the game for about an hour and a 1/2 earlier and thought it was pretty good so far, despite the many bugs it still currently has. So far only played a Squig Herder and Shadow Warrior.

Squig Herder bored me pretty quick. His attacks were slow and his damage was weak. I played a hunter for years and I don't like having to rely on another pet.

Shadow Warrior is fun so far. Has good range damage (which I still like doing), and can do decent melee damage as well.

Gonna try out the other classes, but I'm not big on casters, healers, or tanks, so I won't be experimenting much with too many classes. I haven't tried it yet, but before I started playing I pretty much had my mind set on the Engineer. Gonna try him out next.

How does the combat feel? It looked to me in the previews I saw that it was just alot of static chopping and your target barely responds to bein hit. But I hope otherwise.
