Thanks Toby.
We hope to get it going soon.:rockin:
We did this with less than a $100 and a week of prep.
Want to just make it in to a vicious, nasty, yell at the screen horror flick...

F.Y.I...
we have a zombie comedy we're just starting prep on...
then we (hopefully) get to start on the "real" Shiloh Road.

Looks good, Jess. Love the magic hour shot right into the sun before the kid gets his head splattered.

I have no pointers except this: Make it happen!

That shot worked out great, and we were lucky... it was tricky shooting with the sun at such a dramatic angle in the sky.
Thanks for the kind words:greetings:
Should have it rolling soon.

Change of plans...
My crew/producers(friends) all made the decision to make Old Shiloh Road(Full) our next project.
THe zombie comedy will be fun but we really just wanna do a straight up, balls to the wall old school horror flick.
So we're gearing up:appl1:

Old school?
1) Make it an 80s feel, but be sure not to fill your diolouge with the characters with just plain cuss words, sure throw one or two here and there, but if it's going to be old school keep the talking with normal 80s pop-culture talk.
2) Work the music to make it sound 80s as well with keyboards and not cheapass sci-fi channel sountracks.
3) Make the effects work up to the awesome-ness, not matter how crappy others would think it'll still be a marvelous masterpiece once you follow these steps.

I'll be pullin' for your work, man! Make the story just as good too!

Thanks again Toby:tiphat:
that's good advice, and it will be taken... been watching a lot of 80's horror lately, getting pumped up.
I grew up on those splatter classics.
Cheesy or SUPER cheesy, I adore them all:heart:
