Hi, my names Jamie and I run a website called BthroughZ (To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 5 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.). This is my story...

I have shitty taste in movies. It's fine, I've known it for year. I like bad movies. A level of bad that most people can't comprehend. Sure, I like some good movies. I know they're good because people with known good taste in movies have assured me so. I like just about anything with boobs, blood and a sense of humor. My specialities are zombie and slasher flicks. I'm also fond of Sci-Fi Channel Original Movies (Mammoth), any movie with cute chicks kicking ass (Ninja Cheerleaders, D.O.A., D.E.B.S.) and any movie that has cute chicks put in harms way whether from monsters (Insecticidal), aliens (Decoys) or supernatural evil (The Convent). I have a huge soft spot for anything from the 80s starring any of the great scream queens (Linnea Quigley, Brinke Stevens, Kelli Maroney, Deborah Foreman). Also, it brightens my heart to find truly entertaining movies that were shot on video with no budget in someones backyard (Die and Let Live).

I hate to the bottom of my core: Italian horror movies, German horror movies, pretty much anything Euro, arsty horror movies and slow paced horror movies. I'm pretty much sick of inbred cannibal movies. Seriously, if you're going to make an inbred cannibal movie, STOP USING CRAPPY MAKE-UP (I'm looking at you Wrong Turn and all your bastard offspring). Part of the reason TCM and The Hills Have Eyes were so damn freaky is that the cannibals, under different circumstances, could have passed as normal people. Okay, except for Michael Berryman, but he was born that way so he doesn't count. If you have to give someone a prosthetic face to make them scary, you ain't doing something right. And just so we're clear I could go the rest of my life without ever hearing the following bands again: The Doors, Led Zeppelin, White Snake, The Scorpians, Steve fuckin Miller Band, The Beatles and The mother fuckin Grateful Dead.

I also love: God, my family, punk rock, hard core, MMA, comic books, HTML and Monster energy drinks.

You know, I'm a little boozed up and almost posted something really wrong. But then I read all of the above.

I like the way you think. A little spammy, but I can relate to the rest. Especially art-house horror. I used to keep a spreadsheet which served as a list of how well I ranked horror flicks. Nothing ever bumped The Addiction out of the bottom spot.

I'll bet your roommate was pretty hot, huh? :eyebrow2:

Anyway, konichiwa. Welcome to our corner of the internet. We at UHM will cure you of your 'shitty taste in movies.' Plus, lucky for you, we are all trained professionals in curing people with that nasty little disease most people call sanity. And it's all free of charge :D.

the addiction is actually on the short list of movies i didn't it through. a horror movie has to have a special kind of suck for me not to finish it.

she was a little on the thick side (not that there's anything wrong with that), but yeah, she was pretty cute.

i want to, but with two kids, two jobs, a wife, 2 bands and a website to run, i find usually find myself to drained to think of anything witty to say. wow, i used the word two, and variations thereof, a lot in that sentence. i usually just lurk and read the posts. i'm kind of anti-social and have been told i'm reasonably socially awkward. but this being a horror site, i guess that would be the norm.

It seems like you're just here to troll members for your site. I haven't seen you post in horror talk, or anywhere that's not related to plugging your site

i had a poetry major as a roommate in college. his love and endless adoration (he never stopped listening to those fuckers) pretty much ruined them for me.

i hate led zeppelin becuase ben weasel told me to.

i've always hated the beatles. i tried to like them in high school. i bought a bunch of their records, but i just couldn't get into them. now the monkees on the other hand...
