In my opinion you have left out one of the most dangerous torture devices ever incepted. A large spinning device called The Whirligig. It seems this one is often over looked sense it usually does not cause visible external damage. Though it is still capable of disrupting your entire equilibrium leaving long turn side effects. Also the subject would often pass out causing joints to get dislocated.

Crazy that after impalement you can stay alive for more than a day!Have my doubts that that could've been done so cleanly/quickly so as to not have you bleed out, internally, w/in minutes. Similarly, w/out being given water, regularly, there's no way anyone lasts for weeks in a hanging cage.

Oh man, all of these suck ass, but the one that had me cringing the most was "The Boots."

I mean, they slowly crack your legs until they're shattered, but the wooden planks are still holding everything in place. That's just the beginning, and image how excruciating that would be? THEN, they remove the wooden planks so your legs immediately fall into a linguine-like state! Fucking Christ, these people were SICK.

Also, anything involving being split at the crotch doesn't sound too appealing. The Wheel also sounded pretty freekin' terrible.
