Prince of Horror

Now this is the sequel to the horror hit Scream, which is also a blockbuster success just like it's predecessor. But many may disagree but I like this more.
Now the story follows the survivors of the first film, Sidney, Dooey, Gale, and Stew, as they are all starting new lives, that is until everyone around them starts dying again. Not only that but the fact that the man Sidney accused of murdering her is a free man who want's an interview, thanks to Gale-who has a new cameraman. With all of this going on we still have one thing to worry about, who could the killer be this time around?
First I have to say, that this movie has some of the greatest chase scenes. They are all about a minute to two minutes long and they are very suspenseful and entertaining. We get another group of young faces, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Elise Neal, Timothy Olephant, Rebecca Gayeheart, etc.
Now they make very true statements to horror movie sequels, because if you really look at sequels, you will know that they are true. The characters this time around aren't dumb, which they do smart things, but as they say in the film, get caught up in situations that either cause them to run from the killer or get their heads chopped off.
Full of action, suspense, and fun, scream 2 overcomes it predecessor, but still remains on the same level, so I give this the same rating as I gave the first one an 8.
