Went to see this the other night - wish I didn't. The idea of DeNiro and Pacino finally working in a film side by side sounded like cinema heaven to me. Turned out to be closer to hell. I love and respect them both as actors but this film was just too dragged out and boring...not to mention predictable. Looked like an exercise in acting class more than a dedicated piece of acting to a role in a film. Man are they both not aging well...Pacino especially. Looks kinda funny with all those wrinkles and long brown hair  50 cent is in this as a bad guy...what else. Thank God we don't see him much. John Leguizamo was pretty good as the hot headed cop that was at odds with DeNiro's character "Turk." There were some good scenes with JL.

Not much humor in this at all. There was a funny scene in a prison visiting area. Pacino and Deniro ask a convict to recite some poetry and he does  Other than that it was weak and definitely not worth the price of admission. Wait for the DVD or cable :D

Anyone else see this?

Movie was shit. Plenty of classic De Niroisms, though.

Two great actors stuck in a horribly scripted and directed film.

It was a guilty pleasure. For some reasons movie goers like to rant and complain too much nowadays.
I tell you what movies I can't stand. Pretentious crap. Like movies with asshole George Clooney or Undisputed King of Melancholy and Bad Acting Ben Affleck. Feel good movies. Sports look alike crapping dramas. Unfunny comedies. Including Judd Apatow comedy machine. No humorous in my books.

I wish Carla was nude in this one...
