During Blizzcon this week, Blizzard announced that they will be creating a three-part, or trilogy if you will of the single player mode for Starcraft 2. Each race will have its own stand alone game, unlike the previous game which included all three single player campaigns on the same disc. The Terran will be first with "Terran: Wings of LIberty" where Jim Raynor will be front and center. The Zerg will follow with "Heart of the Swarm" and finally the Protoss with "Legacy of the Void".
Blizzard said that each game will have anywhere from 26-30 missions without cliffhangers meaning that each campaign will have a full ending.
Damn....that's a lot more fun and play time.

Srs? What a load of shit. And everyone is going crazy over dividing game into 3 parts, when clearly it's triple dipping fans' pocketbooks. Blizzard become some greedy-ass bitches.
Bnet will cost for Diablo 3 too? I can't believe this. That was one of the main positives for them.

Cannot blame Blizzard completely. After the merger with that greed-driven group, the direction of everything went away from quality and towards cashing in. WoW is a fine example of that. This 'trilogy' deal only says one thing to me: Wait til 2012 and buy the battlechest at discount. Plenty of games to entertain til then. I only hope they do not screw over Diablo 3 with their new "business plan". Can picture a dumbed down version, cutting out most of the game so it gets under the mature rating... Scary in a way.
