COD 5 World At War

I was reading that once you beat the game you open up a co-op game fighting Nazi zombies. Sounds good to me.

I think I heard the same. A lot of people are complaining about this game because of the developer behind it.. I heard that this game plays out exactly like COD4 just set in the past. I'll definitely download it, check out the single player if I like it I'll buy it for MP.

Frankly I'm just tired of the WWII setting. The weapons, mostly. I like the more up-to-date, faster shooting, and potent weapons in COD4.

If the mutliplayer is structured like CoD4, I might give it a look though. I just don't see Treyarch putting out a title that can compare to what Infinity Ward put out. Not to mention that I think FPSs that can't be inventive or imaginitive will be pushed to the side for other games.

The gun that won the war. I personally don't like it. 8 rounds and the ping is a dead giveaway.. not to mention the ironsights blow. My favorite gun in those days is

decent recoil, good damage, good range from across the map, good sized clip, strong ironsight, and fast enough rate of fire for close quarters.

I always traded up the Allied weps for Nazi weps asap. German engineering has a long history. Their weapons were way better than allied ones. If it weren't for other areas of allied powers' expertise (science, military planning and manpower) we all might be speaking German right now.

I've talked to about 4 other people who are playing it, and basically the opinions range from terrible to "meh." So, I think I'll stick with CoD4 until CoD6 comes out (Infinity Ward is doing that one again).

Why go back to WWII is what I'm wondering...

Maybe in video games. I've asked vets about this. They said with all the gunfire, explosions and whatnot going on during a battle that guys 2 feet away could barely hear it. It really wasn't an issue at all.

I played the beta and it's so-so. It's basically CoD4 with WWII setting and guns. The maps are pretty good, but he "special attacks" are considerably less substantial in a match than in CoD4. You get a recon plane (same as UAV) and 3 successive kills without dying, mortar fire at 5 kills (not as good as the air-strike), and dogs at 7 kills. Dogs are almost un-killable (they're too quick) and will kill you just by touching you, but they're still not as intense or strategy-altering as a helicopter with rockets and mounted machine gun fire.

Everything is basically the same from the ranking system withe exp to the challenges to the guns being unlocked to the class customization. I guess it just comes down to what setting you like best. IMO, CoD4 is just superior in the game in terms of gameplay and gunplay.

I played COD4 a TON and really enjoyed this, although im not a fan of older settings of FPS, this is a nice change and I think its fun

If you complete the single player game u do get to play a surviver mode zombie game

I think a zombie war game would be awesome though, reminds me of a show were zombie soliders came out of the walls while they were walking underground

obviously this is a FPS but its not "just another FPS"

It looks very good, plays very well, the community is huge.
Ive never see any hacking of glitching or even heard of it in 4, i assume 5 will stick to it

The only "unfair" thing in the game is the people who buy the $100+ controllers for the fast action shooting

But i dont even think that works in 5

lots of glitches in COD 4...some you can get on the roof of places your not suppose to, in one of the tunnels you can run at the wall and jump through it getting stuck inside and it allows you to still shoot etc....

and yeah those hacked controllers, i seen one person shoot the 50 cal sniper rifle like a machine gun....:dsp:

Yeah I hate glitches/cheats in online games.

I hate voice chat, tourney fags, etc.

Gaming in the 90s was ace. Now its all dumbed down and retarded fag cheaters, no offense to anyone who participates in competitive play who actually play clean.

Thats why I tend to stay away from all shooters of today. I just don't see a return investment when so many peeps swap fun play for competitive cheating IMO.
