I'm a big "rythm" game fan and just wondering if anyone picked this up. I like the game it's got some sweet songs and the guitar is pretty fun but the other instruments and multiplayer lag behind rockband

Still sweet though:

If you include the Mad Catz expansion set, Rock Band 2's drum kit is pretty sweet. This may be the deciding factor for me, as the game with the better drumset wins.

Rock Band 1 drums are pretty shitty, actually the bass pedal :hmmm: I was hoping the GHWT drums will be good but all Ive been hearing about are problems :dsp:

Well I tried to play the GHWT drums at a best buy and toys r us but both sets had broken cymbals...so i said eff that and got a RB2 wireless set.

The RB2 wireless set is WAY better than the RB1 set. Once the extra cymbols come out its gonna be sweet. Also I dont use the stock pedal, I have a kind of custom one i fixed from a broken 3rd party one that I love.

From all the reviews I read the RB2 drums work better on GHWT than the GH drums do.

Anyway the reason I said the other instruments were better is because the timing window for the drums is pretty large, in fact one of the only songs I cant beat on expert is hot for teacher (with good reason) I'm no wheres near that good on RB2 with the drums.
