I've seen this movie last summer on IFC but never knew what it was called. plus, the last time i seen it i was atleast 12.

anywho, there's this sister and brother and (i think) they killed their moms' abusive boyfriend. then they get older, etc...and there's this mirror with some kind of powers, and things start happening to the people who live in the house that they used to live in. something along those lines.

any help, thanks in advance!!

UPDATE: nevermind, just found out it's called "The Boogeyman"and it's from 1980. great movie in any case.

I hate that movie.
And the remake was even worse, nothing but special effects (lame ones to boot!)

The new Boogeyman you're talking about is a standalone film, not a remake. Only similar in name-alone.
