View Full Version : Please help a Horror fan remember this movie!

I need help with remembering a movie
I'm sorry that like....my first post here is a question but this is seriously driving me crazy.

But who better to ask than horror movie aficionados? :3

A while back this movie aired on sci-fi, in the very early morning, I'd say 3 AM.

It was about a psycho who had kidnapped several children and locked them in a house. One of the kids escaped and led the police back to the house.

Fast forward many years, a family moves from America to Spain. The kid that escaped returned to the very house he led the police to, and now he and his family are living there. Freaky stuff I can't quite remember starts happening, and dad starts remembering his past and getting mentally unstable.

That's all I remember before I fell asleep. I'd like to maybe buy this movie, as I liked it and it seems like this is one of those movies sci-fi shows once and never again. D:

(edit: Come to think of it, it was probably a horrorfest movie, but all the descriptions I'm reading don't fit.)

I know I've seen it, but I can't remember the name. For some reason the first flick that poped in my head was The Dark, but I'm pretty sure that's not the flick.

psssh no way man you said The Dark...not the same as Darkness :naughty:

Though I did like The Dark...that was about a humanoid alien that comes to LA and starts wrecking everyone's shit

there is also a movie called the Dark with Brion James, and it was about an underground monster..

I was thinking "Darkness," but when I quickly checked IMDB it said "The Dark" on the top, so I just put that instead, cuz I forgot what the normal title was. :shrugs:
