Horror Christmas Movie

i'm trying to find the name of a horror movie i seen a few years ago. i've only seen the ending but it intrigued me

it has a woman and she kills (or thinks she does) this green guy/evil being in a santa suit and shes at the top of the stairs in her house and her daughter says something like "mommy look who i found outside" and the woman starts heading down the stairs and sees it's the guy she thought she just killed and she screams and then it rolls the credits

any help would be highly and greatly appreciated

I think it was the Tales From The Crypt episode, "And All Through the House"

yeah he wasn't green like my memory lead me to believe but yeah i just watched that tales from the crypt episode online and yeah that was it thank you so much. i've been looking for that for the past 5 or 6 years

That was in the Tales from the Crypt TV show as well as the original British Tales from the Crypt Movie (1972)
