I want Jason to be big, but he wasn't that big in the beginning so we'll see. Not sure about the running.

Wrong, Ken Kirzinger was the tallest actor to play Jason at 6 '5 feet.
I think people seem to be missing that this remake is trying to focus on the earlier installments of the F13 series in which yes Jason switches drastically in size from Parts 2 to 3 but by and large. He was a big guy but he wasn't built big.
He wasn't even built big when they resurrected him in Jason Lives. In Jason Lives he was very similar to the way he was in the Final Chapter which was lean with very little build.
It wasn't until The New Blood that the character became bulky and built being played by Kane Hodder for four entries, he was relatively the same build from The New Blood through Jason X.
jason is running is a good thing!!!
this f13 is gonna kick soooo much ass
so what if its a "remake". its still a JASON movie...meaning as long as theirs sex, drugs, and violence then its gonna be good

i don't think size matters i mean i've seen plenty of tall skinny guys killing the crap outta everyone so it shouldn't matter if he's a huge muscle man

I really dont give a shit how tall he is, the movie doesn't need to be re-imagined, final. I wont make the same mistake by going to see this in theaters like I did Halloween's Remake. Michael Bay being involved is going to make the movie softer then people think.

Personally I think Jason is better when he's portrayed as being big and slow (Kane Hodder and Ken Kirzinger's portryal) as opposed to small and fast as he is going to be portrayed in the remake. But it's not really that big of a deal, either way is fine.

As long as he's got the mask on and his actions and demeanor is scary, I could care less if he's 5 foot 9. I think the new guy is right at 6 ft and an in or two. Kirzinger was humongous and it still didn't make that much difference to me.

Might as well call this "Michael Bay Presents Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3: Leatherface in a Hockeymask"
I'll go see it, I hope to be suprised, but I doubt it.

I remember the first time I was scared of Jason was in part 7. I realized it was not only the uber cool makeup complete with exposed bones....but the way he moved and breathed. You could tell he was angry and pissed off by his body language. Not to mention he moved faster. A faster moving and visibly angered Jason is by far scarier than size...but I wouldn't completely discredit it either.

I agree. Honestly if he's just walking calmly while the vicitms are running could he really catch them? As if in a panic people would trip that fucking much(as long as female boobies fell out thats always funny.) Jason giving chase and not allowing a possible escape I see as good and inventive. May add up to more kills as well.

I don't really care, personally - but if the film is a "reimagining" of the first three or four movies, then Jason should be "skinny and fast" as that is more like how he was in the earlier films. Personally, as long as he has the same mannerisms as the Jason we know and love, and as long as there's some brutal slasher action going on, I could care less about the body type of Mr. Voorhees.

Seeing how this is a reimaging of the first 3 or 4, I really don't think it does matter. Originally, he was just a normal size, a mongoloid, but still of normal size. When he was resurected in the 6th film, he became super zombie Jason :rockin:
Although it was sweet as hell, I like the approach that they are taking. Maybe Michael Bay and Platinum Dunes will do well on this like they did with the Hitcher, and not kill it like they did with TCM.

The Hitcher is one of the worst remakes i've ever seen, whatta n00b :dsp:

@Steelba, nOOb this.
(*spoilers to follow*)
Reasons why you are right Steelba:
1) Crappy teeny bopper pop punk opening
2) Tard boy picks up the Hitcher with his gf in the car
3) regardless of how good Michael Bean is, he is no Rutger Hauer
Reasons why you are wrong Steelba:
1) Tard boy gets ripped in half, and you see it (unlike in the original scene)
2) A bad ass car chase done to Closer by NIN
3) Much more brutal family slaughter scene
4) Bad ass, hot chick with a shot gun
5) He shoots down a helicopter
And the list could go on. It wa a respectable remake, which is more than I can say about the TCM remake, and both Hitchers are great. So put that in your nOOb pipe and smoke it.
