okay so i remember watching this movie when i was a kid and it scared the beejjeeesus out of me, all i can remember is:
a young girl was like a swimming champ
she dies eating a piece or fruit and then there's this crazy haunting of her parents and i remember this creepy monkey with cymbals going off by itself.
pleaaaassseeee help!!

Probably not being the greatest help here, but I do recall a Stephen King short story about one of those monkeys with cymbals. Might help jog somebody else's mind.
