Supernatural Horror--- Your Top 10---

I know I'm not the only one who loves a good ghost or supernatural movie. I've been a HUGE fan of this subgenre of Horror since I was about eight and watched The Shining for the first time.

So, I thought it would be cool to jump in with both feet and start a new thread dedicated to all the spooky, frightful, ghost and haunting movies out there. And throw in some demonic possession in for good measure.

Anyone else have a top ten list of their favs in this genre:

1. The Shining - Kubrick's classic is a piece of art that still holds it's own
2. The Exorcist - Split pea soup and Linda Blair, nuff said
3. The Legend Of Hell House - Classic adaption of the Richard Matheson Novel
4. Amityville Horror - NOT the Remake
5. Burnt Offerings - Wouldn't mind seeing a remake of this one
6. Pet Semetery - Should NEVER be remade
7. Poltergiest - There Here!!
8. Stir of Echoes
9. The Sixth Sense

I didn't like the remake of it, saw it in theaters too. I much rather watch the orginal.

Oh, don't get me wrong---the original is most always better, but I thought the remake was a respectible adaptation--better than alot of other remakes I've seen---wait, I think I was just lusting over Julia Stiles---till she took that damn fall anyway:)

I liked The Omen remake...I watch it on cable every so often, but don't go out of my way to view it.

I dont have a top 10 but i do like The Shining and 1408. 1408 messes with my head. Its just a movie that gets to me.

Woodenheart, nice pick with Warlock. Have you heard a Warlock comic series is coming out this year? I believe the first issue is in comic stores March 25th. Can't wait to read it myself.
