Yeah I saw a picture of Jake in his get up before. Granted the outfit is done nicely. But he doesn't fit. At all. This is just another example of hollywood just randomly shoving A listers where they don't belong simply because of their title.

I'm not looking forward to this as I'm a fan of the games and it's a written rule by now that Video Game adaptions suck (it's also a rule that Video Game adaptions by Uwe Boll will make you want to kill people). The only exception to this rule I think was the first Mortal Kombat and Silent Hill. Anyways, I'm not to thrilled with this.

I'd rather hear new's about the Gears Of War movie, Epic games wont let hollywood fuck up the story, or from what I heard they'll breach the contract. Good to see at least 1 developer besides Bungie is making sure the movie of their hit games wont be completely fucked up. Also I want to hear about the God Of War movie too.

One more exception to the rule was the 1st Resident Evil movie, because it did seem like a prequel to the games, but the sequels fucked that possibility up.

im a fan of Jake, but he doesn't fit this. The guy is supposed to be persian, I mean you don't have to get a persian, but atleast someone that can pass for that. And yeah they say they won't allow them to fuck up Gears of War. But the developers for Doom said the same thing, and uh....yeah we all know what happend there. Doom wasn't a shit stain, it was diarrhea.

True, I still have DOOM just because its a mindless popcorn flick to me. MAYBE someday it will get remade though, hopefully DOOM 4 will spark interest in a remake. Do you even remember why they changed the entire story for it? I can't

Yes. Like Doom 3 was a remake of DOom 1. This one will be a remake of Doom 2. Not that theres really a storyline to remake. origianal Doom was just a shoot'em up. But it'll continue from Doom 3.

And Guy with the gun mentioned why did they change it so much. I dunno I just know it was a bad idea. Hollywood execs only thing of past movies and think "well that was popular lets do that again". Its like they tried to mix this movie with the flick Aliens or something. Retards. And I found it stupid that they changed everything about Doom, but the one thing from the game they decided to keep was the FPS view towards the end of the movie, which somehow managed to make that piece of crap movie even more stupid.

I just skimmed this whole post because I'm not really interested in the flick as a whole, but I saw this pic today and figured I'd share. Dunno if it's old or not though.
