Been hearing a lot of positive stuff on this anime for a while now. Mostly about how it's surprisingly violent in the final episode. I've been hesitant about watching it since I've grown tired of animes dealing with high school, but I decided to give it a shot anyway.
Didn't really get into it until around the third ep when the story starts to get thicker and I was pretty much hooked from then-on. It's hard sitting through some of it, because the chicks in it can be really annoying at times, but I toughed it out since the story remained interesting. It's funny how the lead guy went from a nice person to a womanizer in no time.
Finished the final episode earlier and overall I liked the series. It reminded me of another romance-drama series I really liked called Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien (Rumbling Hearts in the US), which was a plus for me. When the "violence" finally occured at the end, it proved to be an interesting twist to the story, but it's far from as violent or bloody as many have lead me to believe.
Coincidentally both anime series are based on Hentai games, where you're able to date a number of females with a series of outcomes. I like Rumbling Hearts better since you feel more towards the characters, plus the lead guy in this anime is just a straight up jerk for sleeping with all these dumb chicks, so you can't really root for anyone. Still not a bad anime.
Overall series: 7/10
I've read that there are two spinoff OVA's for this anime -- are they worth checking?
