Hello everybody, Ive been told about a film, and unfortunately the description is a bit vague. There was some sort of possessed black cat, and its eyes turned fluorescent green.

Its supposed to be a horror film from before the 80's.

I'm sorry for the lack of details, all help is greatly appreciated.

Lucio Fulci's Black Cat, I'm not if it there were green eyes though, it was early 80s

Am I mistaking or does that Argento/Romero movie Two Evil Eyes have a black cat?

There's also the Masters of Horror episode The Black Cat, but don't think that's the one. No green eyes if I remember correctly.

Yeah I forgot about 2 Evil eyes the second story was The Black cat a Poe Tale....I havent seen the masters of horror one but it is probably from the same story

Ive seen both the masters of horror episode and 2 evil eyes and it doesnt seem to be either of them.

Its a shame I dont have more information, I'm sure there are lots of horror films with black cats in. :straightface:

Nope it wouldn't be Cat's Eye. For one the cat isn't black; another the cat isn't possessed and third the cats eyes don't glow or seem to glow .

The Cat O' Nine Tails but the film isn't really about cats at all.

I haven't seen it in years so I can't really remember much about the actual cats...but there's an older movie called "Strays". Maybe that's it? I don't know...a black cat with glowing eyes doesn't scream out a specific film in general, haha!

oh I know, was it The Uncanny??? Forgot about that one...it has cats in it too.

Indeed and with Roger Daltrey from The Who but I can't remember if the cat's eyes turned green. Good movie though!
