4th Floor Pictures latest film Stockholm Syndrome will be released this April/May through BRAIN DAMAGE FILMS. The film is getting a lot of great reviews and a lot of positive feedback on how dark the film is. Check out the trailer or check out our myspace pages about the film. There are also behind the scenes videos up on the myspace pages. Leave feedback. Thank you...
"An exploitation movie that actually delivers what other such films only promise. Cavalline had the spine to make a bizarre, gritty, insane, gory, and wonderfully offensive flick! Good for him! Check this movie out!"
- Eric Stanze, director of SCRAPBOOK, DEADWOOD PARK, and RATLINE

I agree, I haven't had much luck with some of the BD films. So, when I went to sign Stockholm with them, I really had to think it over. After several long talks and reviewing the game plan that is in place with BD; I signed Stockholm with them. I think viewers will be happy to see the line of films that will be coming from them in the future. The films will be more professional and a lot more darker. Back to the true blood and guts.
We really worked our azzs off on this film and I wasn't going to sign it over to anyone., but we've worked with BD in the past and they do work with the filmmakers to get the films out there.
So, if your into dark films then Stockholm Syndrome will be the film for you. Its nasty and gives fewers that warm happy feelinging inside. It should be out sometime this April/May. More news soon.
Thanks

Atleast they get movies out there, so that's good. And we need more small labels, there can never be enough.

Yeah, it could be worse. You could be getting released by Sub Rosa...Holy god.
I sent you a PM 4th Floor, about maybe obtaining a screener of Stockholm Syndrome to review for Film Bizarro. Either way I'll be checking out SS as it looks like it could be a promising flick.

I actually have a few films with Sub Rosa... Haven't seen a dime... EVER. The films just get lost in the catalog and no one pushes the films. I would say the films are very bad there. I've seen some horrorable flicks. Well, I emailed you back.
Thanks

That sucks about Sub Rosa. Though it's not surprising, it seems like they just buy whatever they can, that's cheap, put on DVD/VHS and then just sit on it.
Oh and sorry but the email/message didn't come through, for whatever reason. If you want you can drop me a line at. digitalartery@gmail.com

I'm actually working with another company called GMD FILMS www.gmdfilms.com with our latest film DEAD BODY MAN CHRONICLES and things have gone well. I try to spread the love with our films. I don't keep all the eggs in the same nest.
Check out that flick at www.myspace.com/deadbodyman3 Its more of a dark comedy then a horror film but, if your into Troma films then this is something you'll dig. Plus its a two disc release for $10.00 Can't beat that... So, check it out...

I would agree that most of the materail on the label is not the greatest. Mostly the earlier materail is rough to get through. There are a few goodies in there if you look around. You have to keep in mind that these are low budget films. If you go into it thinking its a Hollywood produced film then, your going to hate it.
There are few Brain Damage Films I would recommend:
Stange things happen at Sundown
The great American Snuff Film
Johnny Sunshine
And of course our new film STOCKHOLM SYNDROME
Brain Damage has a new game plane for the 09 year with some great new films comming. A lot more professional made films which I think will make viewers a lot more happy.

Well Brain Damage's reputation will definitely improve if they continue to release movies like Stockholm Syndrome. I enjoyed it.

Hello... Glad you enjoyed Stockholm Syndrome. May I ask how you seen it? I know I send out several screener copies. Johnny Sunshine had a good idea. Nice nudity and violence. I just got tired of the transition from location to location. Its like they used that each time they had to transition. I wasn't big on the ending either... Overall I enjoyed. I guess this is just me picking... I know Stockholm Syndrome has it issues as well. So, the big picture is Brain Damage will be releasing better looking films in 09. I'm glad to be a part of it all.
