Worst Horror movie ever!

Its called Blood Freak i have on vhs i havent seen it forever and kinda forgot about it. Anyways i was watching tv just searching through the guide and it was on Turner Classics at like 1am so i watched most of it, i forgot how stupid this movie is just horrible acting worst ive ever seen. Especially the 2 lab guys on the poultry farm wow talk about pathetic. Anyways im wondering whats ur guys take on this movie.

I've seen it and enjoy showing it to friends, who think they've seen the worst films out there. As bad as it is, it's still very entertaining, for all the wrong reasons.


This is definitely one of the most poorly made films out there. There's a few stories out there about the making of this film: It was funded by a church group to make an anti drug film, after seeing some of the gore investors pulled out. The filmmakers had to finish the film on 8mm.

Also the directors started out making stag films and soft core porn. On the Something Weird Video release the extras include a Pro Nudist colony film by the director (the narrator who hacks on his cigarette.)

Blair Witch gets a lot of heat and while it is not good, it isn't totally atrocious.

The problame with REALLY bad movies is sometimes they are so bad, they are good (like Plan 9), then there are ones that are so bad...they are bad (like Zombie Lake)

Humanoids From Atlantis is so bad that the actors broke character at the end of the movie and started argue about how there was no fake blood.

Hard to imagine hating a movie like Blood Freak when it is so enjoyable. It's also laughable to consider it the worst horror movie ever when there are so many worse flicks out there. Blood Freak may technically be a bad movie, but it's very far from the worst.

TCM2 - 3 Victims (other than the unfortunate viewer) and one of them was killed three different times. How many times can one station manager die??? The only good part of it was the dual at the end between Hopper and Leatherface.

Totally. That movie is great after a few rips :smoking4:. Especially with the MALK. The troll is freaky as hell too. I had totally forgotten about those scenes in KKFOS, and I am definitely watching that tonight.

@Joykilla, dude, Dennis Hopper does almost anything, and his talent is wasted in that movie by having him run around a bunch screaming and chopping up 6x8s. I'll agree with you about the remake, except for R Lee Ermy, that movie sucked donkey balls. However, A New Beginning, how could you not like that? Especially with the cow:giggle: Except for having big names in all of them (except the first) the only ones I really feel that are worth while are the original and ANB.

Any of the cheap cashins released by Asylum are remarkably bad, but I will give them credit for being the geniuses that they are and quickly releasing low budget films before the DVD releases of major films like I Am Legend and others then reaping the mistakingly spent dough from people that cant read DVD cases.

For those of you who enjoyed Blood Freak, I highly reccomend checking out Octaman!!! You wanna see a man running around in a rubber octopus suit killing people, then this is your cup of tea! A total cheeze classick!!! As a bonus, you get treated to the Octaman pulling out a man's eye with his suction cups!

It's ironic that the Octoman costume was created by none other than FX guru Rick Baker... he has stated that Octoman was a learning lesson for him. He was told by the director that he needn't put much work in the costume because it was only going to be shown in the dark and in real quick flashes... suffice to say, that was not the case and the shoddy costume he created was source of great embarrassment for Baker... he said that no matter how short a small the part his work is supposed to play in a movie, after Octoman, he aims for perfection in all of his work.

Well, honestly I haven't seen half of the ones that you guys are all mentioning (thank God b/c they sound horrible)...& I kinda like Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. Then again I haven't seen it since I was a kid, but yeah I agree with you that there are worse ones than Shutter.
