Bad Graphics w/ Rainbow Six Vegas 2 on PS3

My friend and I decided to pop in Vegas 2 for the PS3 and play a little co-op on the campaign, but we had to download an update for the game first. After installing the update we noticed the graphics were downgraded significantly -- like, Nintendo 64-type graphics. WTF!?

I restarted, took the disc out, and nothing changed. Never had this type of problem before. I did a search and came back with old results for the game and I couldn't find much on issues with the recent patch for the game.

Anyone know anything about this or has experienced this type of thing before?

you using hdmi? component? just delete the patch from the save data utlity

Wouldn't I be prompted to install the patch again? or are you suggesting I try a reinstall of the patch?

Yeah you will but you choose to not let it dl if you don't want too. Unless you go online I think you need to update it, not sure. Try to reinstall it again.

I think maybe with all the really graphical games that have come out since then, maybe going back and playing a crappy game made it look that much crappier.

R6V:2 was a terrible title anyway. They fixed nothing, enhanced nothing, but they added a few more weps thinking people would shit themselves over it. Just play Nazi Zombies on CoD5. That stuff is great.
