Just started watching this anime and I'm a few eps in. I like it so far, I was just curious if anyone else has seen it? I'm hoping the series gets a bit darker as it progresses, because it seems like it would be really good if it did.

Right now what I gather from the premise is that a strange wall is built mysteriously around a city and shortly after people who crossed over from the wall come back with strange mystical powers. Naturally there's a group of people out there who also have powers of their own, who help stop those that chose to use their powers for more malicious purposes.

I'll reply back with my thoughts after I get more into the series, but if anyone out there are interested in checking a new anime they might want to give this one a look.

Finished the series. Thought it was good, but left a lot behind a lot of unanswered questions, and it doesn't look like a second season will happen anytime soon. An OVA was released, but takes place between episodes, so it doesn't really answer any questions, sadly.

As for the series itself, it's good, but I expected a bit better. The characters were interesting, but it was the premise and mysterious wall around the city that really peeked my interest. Since not much was explained by the final episode, it failed to meet expectations and left me a bit disappointed.

There's a decent amount of blood and gore in certain episodes, but not a lot. If it hadn't been for that, I'm not quite sure how long I would've lasted watching the series. In the end, it's an interesting anime that fans may enjoy, but not something I would specifically recommend.

7/10

No, I've seen a lot of good animes that I wouldn't recommend. Why? Because nothing specifically about them stand out in my mind to make me tell someone to check it out. It's good, but not something that stands out. :dsp:
