This is a 3-part OVA that was released as one straight-to-DVD movie here in the US in the Summer of '08. I finally got around to checking it and found it to be surprisingly good.
The story basically revolves around an alternate future, where humans have learned to use the black arts of sorcery to better serve mankind in various tasks. From construction to surgery, sorcery is the best and quickest way to get things done. However, using such powers come with a cost. For some, using these powers will transform a person into a demon, causing havoc to everything and everyone around them. It's up to an elite squad of "tactical sorcerists" to put an end to these foul creatures.
Pretty good amount of blood and guts are sprayed throughout this anime. Sadly, it's a bit on the short site, clocking at just short of 80 minutes. There's so much more story to be told, so I wouldn't be surprised if they make it into an actual series (I.E. ROD TV, Blood +) or bust out a couple more OVAs. Either way, if you're looking for a good short anime with an interesting story and doesn't shy on the blood and guts, then I recommend giving this a check.
