A young college student is haunted by a "Dybuk". One by one it is getting everyone close to her. With the help of a Rabbi and a Priest, she sets out to defeat the spirit that has been haunted her and her family for generations, once and for all.
The most recent PG13 horror film to hit the screens is The Unborn. The film takes an interesting take on the ghost flick. I'm sure you have all heard enough about it so here it goes.
The film does have it's flaws. Among them is the fact that many of the scares are either very forced or cheap and jumpy. The character development could have done with a huge overhaul. The boyfriend character seems like nothing more then an extra who just happened to be at the right place at the right time. All this is not to say the film doesn't have it's saving graces. Some of the scares made me jump and the Atmosphere is amazing. There are also many "Dark Knight" esq. Arial shots that are very kind to the eyes. Overall, movie is a tough one. It was nowhere near as bad as some of the genre fair we had shit upon our screens last year (One Missed Call, Shutter). I recommend checking out once it gets to DVD
