I checked the other post about this but it didn't seem like too many people had gone to see it yet. I checked it out last night in a packed theater and loved it.

By no means does it have a good story or good acting or good flow, but it's the very essence of "throwback". Really had the feel of the older slashers and brought in so many cliches from those days. The dumb naked blonde, the "turn around scare", the ending was hilariously cliche but it worked!

It really seemed like the filmmakers just wanted to have fun with this and they successfully made a cheesey, gorey (although it was unbelievable gore), popcorn flick. There were as many laughs as there were gasps in the theater and the 3D made it all the better. No way could this remake have worked if it was a regular film.

The only downside is that while I enjoyed the film in 3D in the big packed theater, I don't think I'd ever go out and buy this or watch it again unless I had a bigass TV to watch it on.

Otherwise, def. check this one out guys. 8/10.

Saw this earlier today, and while it's not perfect, it's definitely a lot of fun and a great throwback to classic slashers. MBV3D had everything a great slasher flick should have - sex, blood and a mysterious, ruthless killer.

Very well done. 8/10 (As a pure horror film)

I thought the ending was dumb, but the movie as a whole was very entertaining. The 3D was great. I haven't jumped and laughed that much at a horror movie in a long time. I had a lot of fun. I'm over the Final Destination movies but hell the new one thats coming out is going to be 3D. If its as much fun as this flick, I'm so there.

I dug the 3d, and I know they needed the cgi for that effect, but the cgi blood was getting annoying. It is a pretty good flick though, 7/10. Predictable though.

Did you all have to pay a $3 "service charge" because of the 3-D glasses?

LAME. Cost me $12 to see a MATINEE showing of this, though I 'spose it was worth it.

Yeah. Tickets here are ten bucks after 5pm and there was a 2 dollar fee for the glasses.

BUT SAVE YOUR GLASSES!!! For FD4: 3D! Just tell the theater you already have your glasses for that film and they won't charge you for them.

After all the positive feedback I'm hearing, I'm going to check this out at the theatre sometime this week! :coolbeer:

Its made $24 mill. Its a hit baby! I think its already safe to say theres gonna be more 3D horror because of this success. And theres already going to be Final Destination 4 in 3D and Piranha (omfg!) in 3D as well, and that ones gonna be done by Alexander Aja!

And if F13 is a success so close to this movie? We may see the rebirth of the slasher. I'm crossing my fingers.

i've never been a big fan of so called 3d movies as most of them tend to fall flat on there face so i would always go on the other elements of the movie. i like the killer with the pick axe and gear he wares giving a very scary killer worthy of someone to run from rather than ooooo its the guy you sore who was a friend but not any more ^^ i not seen the movie yet before anyone else comments on my comment. i have to wait to get too see this movie and when i do it will probably on rent r something. fd4 should be good without the 3d effects but i can imagin how fun it would be in 3d so i'm looking forward too that but i have a feeling it wont be as good as the previous. i am all for 3d horrors and so on if they indeed prove to be good watches, just as long as they dont end up like jaws 3 3d wich was really poor and could of been a much better movie if they left out the 3d elements.

btw, hi guys, wink kiss.
