Mass Mental Cruelty

I've been working on the screenplay for the past few months. Looks like I'm just about done with it. Looking forward to directing this film of short horror stories. I'm taking my time with it and should be released in the summer at the latest early 2010.

After finishing half of the story I noticed another movie similar to what I was writing called "The Asylum" made in the 1970s. Though the concept is similar it's totally different. I might end up doing a rewrite though depending on the copyright issue.

The story is about a patient at a mental hospital telling the tales of his cruel life to the ward doctor. Each story is different but related in a sense. I don't want to give too many details as some of my stuff has already been ripped off. But, I will update this later with more info once we begin shooting.

sounds a little like Asylum, that was a decent movie. Let us know how it progresses.

Yeah I think I'm going to post some of the script so you can see it's not like the "Asylum". I had the idea before I saw the flick but after I saw it I realized it was too close. So I did a rewrite and it's a lot different now. It's just hard to describe without filling the page up with tons of spoilers. But, I guess I got to do what I got to do. Thanks for the kind feedback as well. Any feedback to me is good so don't be afraid to be cruel. I'll try to get some of it this week. At least a more detailed plot so you can examine it more.
