I read on Imdb that its Rated R for sadistic brutal violence including a rape and disturbing images, language, nudity and some drug use. But on here it is said that Wes Craven said that he doesn't want this remake to be as brutal as the original was, and instead wants it to be more story-driven....ok I get it being more story drivin.....But I want my brutality, done right. So I quess my question would be, even after the trailer made me effie about it, Does anyone know if it will be as brutal or even more then the original(1972)? :wideeye:

Doubt it'll be more brutal and raw than the original was, but I'm sure it'll be more gory :shrugs:

well....eah.....the orignal just Ya....!!! But thinking it over Could be good, could be better, could suck. Will be nice to see Sara Paxton step outta the childhood mold. Didnt think she would but eah you never know. So far from the trailer...could go ither way. Just have to wait and see. If I remember correct march? :smoking3:

I didn't really like the original myself, so it's possible I'll like the remake a bit more. March 13th

Well it has a guy have his head stuffed in a microwave in the trailer.. let's see how that ends :D

I hope they don't expect us to believe that they'd actually be able to turn the microwave on :bored:

it is very very easy to manipulate old microwave versions. I have done it many times with mine. It is far from impossible. I think this movie looks bad ass

I would think if you could fool the microwave into thinking the door was closed could result in head-frying :shrugs:. Just stick something in the door prong holes or whatever.

FrighT's just not as microwave savvy :D.

I've never messed with microwaves, so I wouldn't know, but from my own personal experience the door needs to be closed :shrugs:

thats what I thought. I mean I used to hear storys where women would dry there hair in the microwaves....but thats like back in the day.

Yes, which is why if you can rig the machine so it thinks the door is closed, you could cook something with the door being open.

IT'S GENIUS!

I am puzzled...I don't think you can cook with the door open. I may try this.. well maybe. Don't want the micro waves shooting out into the kitchen.

if you do cook with the door open, it is possible, stay far far away. The waves are known to cause severe dizziness, and could even kill someone if enough is put into the body.

Just thought of something. K a mircrowave doesnt really heat things up, just moves the molecules so fast of whatever item is put it. So then its heated up. So with a human wouldnt that just remove the water from your body? cooking you from the inside out. If I am wrong would love to be corrected. But I remembered when i used to go to school someone talking about this. Hope they make it look right.

I knew a girl once whose older brother and his roommates punched a hole in the front of the door so they could look in better while their shit cooked (as stupid as it sounds) and apparently 2 of the 3 guys in the house got cancer within a year. Don't fuck with it hahaha.

I used to know a guy who put a kitten in a microwave. I kicked him in the balls and then in the head. Got suspended from school for a week, but it was worth it. :smokin2:

I was not a huge fan of the original but I definately don't think that they should take the brutality out of the new one because that is what made the original so popular! If they are going to remake the movie they should do it right or not do it at all!

That scene was intense. I hope they put something that shocking/cringworthy in the remake. They have to keep the brutality or they have no business keeping the title of "Last House on the Left"...no business at all...:dislike:

Original made me sick to my stomach, in a good way though. It was proactive, disgusting and uber violent. I doubt this one will be as violent but you never know. Hills Have Eyes turned out to be more violent than the original.
