the first half of ravenous was good then it got to super natural for me


TCM is the best cannibal movie..and the best movie ever

Texas Chainsaw Massacre (remake) is my favorite cannibal movie. I love R. Lee Ermey's character. They couldn't have chosen a better actor to play the role of Hoyt. He scares me, in a realistic kind of way.

Cannibal! The Musical is good.. TCM.. Cannibal Holocaust.. there are a few other movies with Cannibalism in it but not the main theme..

Keeping with the Italian cannibal genre, it's hard to top Cannibal Holocaust. Jungle Holocaust, The Man From Deep River and Cannibal Apocalypse are pretty good as well. Never been big on Ferox, I mean it's sleazy and fun but that's about it. Flicks like Cannibals, Cannibal Terror, etc. are just plain horrible though.

Outside of that subgenre, I suppose Ravenous would be the best I have seen as far as being a true cannibal focused film.

A couple of my favorites are Hannibal particularly where he cuts off a piece of the guy's brain and feeds it to him. And I also liked the Karma part of Nite Tales where the gangsters are strung up by chains and are eaten alive by the cannibalistic towns people who want revenged. I really liked both, but the Hannibal one was definitely the most shocking. :thumbup3:
