I just watched Wishmaster last night and I was laughing so hard at the damn Djinn. This guy can't do anything unless someone asks him to do it.

If you were to spend a day walking up to total strangers and asking them to wish for something, I bet your face will smell like pepper spray.

There's a part where he asks Tony Todd if he wants anything and Todd replies "I want you to leave" and watches the Djinn awkwardly shuffle away. Hilarious, he has got to be the least frightening villain since Gargamel.

The guy who wrote it (Peter Atkins) has written all the Hellraiser's since Hellbound: Hellraiser 2 and you can see the influence in the way the script is fleshed out. The Wishmaster is just a cheap knockoff of Pinhead, all his shtick ends with very cenobite-like deaths with piano wires wrapped around body parts and people turning into various snake like creatures.

So bad I need to to watch the rest of the series 5/10

Oh I think you'll equally enjoy the second one especially the scene with the lawyer. I won't spoil it, but it is priceless.

I kinda liked the first but it wasn't in any way a great film. Saw pt 2 but never bothered with the rest.

yeah dude, I caught it in the theater as well.

It's a pretty fun movie...but the whole premise is beyond retarded. I mean c'mon, he only has powers if somebody makes a wish?

It would have been more respectable without that ending.

It would have been more respectable without that ending. Yeah I agree, the endings are too corny.

Freddy and Jason make cameos? ahahaha I need to watch this shit. Caught part of it and thought it was absolute shit on the Scream Network. In what capacity was Craven involved?

The actors that play freddy and jason are in it, Craven was a producer on the film if I remember correctly..
