I'm really mixed on this. I do think a wild animal could be some form of a pet IF they can be trained right. Now, I understand having affection for a pet, really, but at the same time it sounds like this woman was taking it a bit too far. Sad that this had happen though, both for the animal and the woman.

They're consider wild animals for a reason. Sad it happened and all but maybe people should learn to stick with dogs/cats/birds/fish/rodents.

I never understood some people's compulsion to have "unusual" pets like this.

Chimpanzees--and most primates, for that matter--are, pound-for-pound, far stronger than humans. And that's before you get to the enormous canines--fangs, really--that they're sporting.
