This 65 min anime is currently only available in the "Collectors box sets" of Street Fighter IV. The box set includes the game, a CD soundtrack, this anime title, and a little figurine (Ryu for PS3, C. Viper for 360).

This is an interesting Anime as it falls 100% within the Street Fighter game cannon. None of the other movies have in the past. The main fighters in the movie are Guile, Chun-Li, Sakura, Ryu, Ken, C. Viper, Camy, and Seth. It picks up after the events of the Street Fighter II tournament and gives a transition between Street Fighter 2 and Street Fighter IV.

Confused? That's right, Street Fighter 3 is supposed to take place AFTER Street Fighter IV. So SF4 is a sequel to 2 and a prequel to 3...they should have called it SF2.5

Anyway the Anime is decent, much better than the last pile of crap anime in the Street Fighter world (Street Fighter Alpha Generations). But still can't match up to the original one (Street Fighter II: the Animated Movie).

I watched the English version...boy was that a mistake, the dubbing was all over the place. The animation was not very fluid but some scenes were especially sweet (like the end battle).

Bottom line: unless you buy the collector's pack (which only Street Fighter nerds such as myself own) you might not be able to see it, while not great in terms of anime it is awesome in terms of the Street Fighter "official" plot.

For anyone else interested in the Street Fighter cannon, the order of "official" story material is as follows:
Street Fighter, Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Super Street Fighter II Turbo (HD), Street Fighter: The Ties that Bind, Street Fighter IV, Street Fighter 3: Second Impact, Street Fighter 3: Third Strike
