Unknown Sci-Fi Teen Show

There was this movie (that played out more like a really long TV episode) that aired back on the Disney Channel in the mid-late 90s I think. There were 3 kids (2 guys and a girl) and they were like in the future on some wierd space station or something. One of the guys had a crush on the girl and bought her some sort of necklace at a flea-market thing.

I also want to say that one of the Power Rangers were in it, or some other 'currently hot' icon was in it.

Anybody have any clue at all?

I'm thinking maybe it was the show called "So weird" but that was more supernatural then sci-fi..
