So, my friend was telling me that she keeps seeing previews for this movie about a bus driver who kidnaps some elementary school kids & drives the bus into a lake or something. Then, of course, teens go to party, find the bus & the kids come back or something like that..I have no idea what it is, so help me out guys!!

Since you mention your friend "keeps seeing previews" we're to assume this is a movie that hasn't been released yet? If so, at the moment I can't specifically think of any upcoming movie with a theme like that.

there's a bus scene in the movie "Substitute" aka Vikaren...but i don't recall them driving into a lake :shrugs:

See, I'm not totally sure...she borrowed a bunch of movies off me a while back & said that the preview for it was on one of them but unfortunately, she can't remember which one so we're both just kinda stuck. And actually, now that you mention it, she didn't really specify if she caught a date for it or not...

There's a trailer out at the moment for "Trick R Treat", which features a school bus full of kids, apparently as the backing story for "what went on", I guess there was mass killing of schoolkids on Halloween and the townfolk go on from there...

Thats a great guess, that trailer has been around for years without the film ever seeing a release, so its a good possibility! The movie looks awesome, try searching for the trailer on youtube to see if thats the one.

I just realized there is a NEW The Children coming out that may be what you are looking for. Its definitely not the 80s The Children, but also check online to see if the 2008 The Children is a possibility?
