PLOT: Its in the Summer of 1994 in New York, we have Luke Shapiro (Josh Peck) who is uncomfortable in his own shoes. Which is surprising since he is a successful drug dealer (Pot). The movie follows Luke around as he deals pot to his customers. With his therapist Dr.Squires being his best customer (also his best friend). We follow Luke while he deals his weed, in which we meet some interesting characters, A Dreadlock Chick (Mary-Kate Olsen), A One hit wonder singer, and his dealer (Method Man). With Luke not being happy about his life he feels like he needs a girl to make him happy. It just happens to be Dr.Squires Step Daughter Stephanie. Luke ends up falling in love with Stephanie after a weekend at her parents beach house. Stephanie isn't too pleased with this since she is kind of a slut (with her saying she has had sex over 100 times right before Luke and her have sex). For me that would be a relationship breaker, but all Luke wants is to love somebody. But after he said he loves her we don't see Stephanie that much after that, which must have scared her a little bit. After that is done we are left with just Luke and Dr.Squires which the way it should have just been. Luke has never gotting along with his parents, which gets worst when he finds out he and his parents are going to get kicked out of their house. Thats when Luke steps up his dealing game and ask The Doctor to help him deal, so he can make enough money to stay in his house. With the Dr.Squires accepting, since his own relationship with his wife is down the drain and wants to get out there to mingle with the ladies (since he just wants to have a affair to get back at his wife). After with almost having an affair with the "Dreadlock Chick" he decides to try to make is relationship with his wife better which ends with a divorce. After that being said Dr.Squires goes back to his beach house to committe suicide. Luke goes to look for him by stopping at his house, but instead meets Stephanie, with Luke seeing her with another guy. He just ends up telling her the business and leaving for the beach house. When he gets there Dr.Squires is all drugged up and ask Luke to join him in the drug spree. Of course he accepts, which leads them on the beach with Dr.Squires swimming out to the ocean to die. Luke tries to follow him but is unable to since being all drugged up. So instead Luke spills his heart out about his best friend, leading to Dr.Squires to come back to shore, to call luke a Fag for his little speech. After that little episode, Luke wants to see Stephanie one last time before he goes to college. With Luke pretty much telling her how she messed things up with a good guy. With the last scene, Luke standing in front of a Train.

My Thoughts: I first heard about this movie a couple of months ago and wanted to check it out for 2 reasons. 1 being it was about weed :D, and 2nd it had Josh Peck in it. If you don't know who Josh Peck is, he's on the nick channel on the show "Josh And Drake". With me having 2 neices and 2 nephews, I've had to watch that show for a long time. I wanted to see how he would do with such a different Character. And I must say he was good through most of the movie, but its just weird seeing him in such a different character. I've heard a lot over the Net that people are dissappointed with him taking this part. Since he smokes, deals, has sex, curse, and just about everything else, but with him saying he was tired of playing the clean role, I'm glad he took this role. Anywho, the one thing that I did love about this movie was the Soundtrack, all the songs in this movie were great and fit well with the movie. Since this movie wasn't only just about dealing it was about the music, if you watch this movie you will find out. I thought the friendship between Luke and Dr.Squires was pretty interesting, since Squires acted like a teenager, but with him being pretty old. One thing I didn't really like was the whole Love story, since Stephanie was just a plain all out bitch. Plus it didn't really lead anywhere, felt like it was just feeling in scenes when she was in it.

OVERALL: I thought the movie was decent. One thing that made me turn my head was the whole love story. Just didn't really do it for me. Thought Josh Peck did a pretty good with this character being way off from what he usually does. I liked the stoner characters that he dealt to, thought they were pretty interesting with Method Man being the best. There is plenty of weed in it which is a plus. I would probably rate this movie a 6/10. Could have been a little better in some parts.
