Vampires who need crystals?

The main thing I remember about the movie is that one guy had a box of crystals. When he would feed off of someone he would either pull a crystal out of them or one would appear but he needed them for something because I think at one point someone stole them and he had to get them back or he would die.

Anyone?

I know it's not Subspecies. I think it was a British film.

It is in fact Wisdom of Crocodiles with Jude Law which is called Immortality on the dvd art I found. Must be a Us vs Non-Us title thing. Thanks!!!!!
