Hey folks, Luris brought up an interesting idea to change things up a little bit 'round the CE forum. Now that FrighT has enabled the embedding of videos into topic threads, LB had the notion of doing video-based threads where people can record and upload cam videos/vlogs of their thoughts on different topics.
Basic structure would go thussly:
People upload a single video expressing their thoughts/feelings/beliefs on a given topic or issue with commentary to follow, as usual. Clearly, no personal attacks will be tolerated. Also, all video threads are to be clearly labeled as such in the thread title, preferably with a simple, uniform "Video Thread: fill-in-the-blank" format so as to avoid confusion with text-based threads on similar topics.
I believe LB has an initial idea or two locked and loaded, so we'll let him kick things off if there looks to be interest. We figure not everyone is necessarily versed with recording and uploading to sharing sites, you tube, etc., so we can all help each other out as issues arise.
