Does anyone know what this movie is?!

The movie is based around an author who writes a book and when someone reads the book their eyes bleed. The book becomes a huge success and spreads around the world, the movie ends with something to the effect of... it doesn't matter if they haven't read the book, it's coming out as a movie. Any help on finding this movie's title would be appreciated.
