I've been on a little break from work. I was able to get a Friday through Monday off, and I don't want to go back tomorrow.

Maybe I could call in with a cough and say I think it might be the swine flu????

I wouldn't; karma's a bitch.

But on topic, I've complained of back problems on multiple occasions because I really do have a slipped disc in my back. It's gotten me outta work and school on a few occasions :D

Nah, I'm not going to call in. Besides, I put in a bid for a repossessed New Beetle and I want to find out if I won :D

I guess it's just that I've had such a blast spending time with the family.

I do like working though, it gives me a purpose.....plus the money doesn't hurt either.

When I was in 12th grade I remember missing like 10 days in a row, they let me pass though because my grades were so good.

I call in rarely. I get sick maybe once or twice a year so I only call in if I really just want another day off and I don't make excuses. I just tell them I won't be in and if they ask I tell them its personal. :nod:

I WON THE NEW BEETLE MY JOB WAS AUCTIONING!!!!!

Yaay!!! They said I won by a few bucks, now I just need to get that loan part taken care of :D

usually when i call in i dont have to lie, crazy stuff happens to me. examples: a paint can got spilled down the basement steps and the old man put newspaper on it and didnt tell me, i slipped and fell down the stairs; part of our basement wall caved in; and one of my friends died at a concert. other than that i rarely call in
