I was alerted by a UHM viewer that UHM is mentioned in the latest issue of Rue Morgue magazine. He said under the websites area where they talk about genre sites that they like, there's a spot there for UHM.
It's either issue #88 or issue #89 with the Drag Me to Hell cover. Anyone got the magazine? If so, scan me the blurb so I can post it, since I won't be picking the mag up probably until the weekend :hmmm:

That's fucking sick if it's true. Getting the well deserved recognition finally.

I flipped through both those issues days ago...didn't see anything.
I pass the newsstand everyday...I'll check again tomorrow.

It's probably just a small blurb somewhere towards the end of the mag. It should be located where they talk about websites :shrugs:

"UpcomingHorrorMovies.com is one of the best online resources for finding out what genre titles are being released and when. It's a shame, then, that this site is so cluttered, and as a result. somewhat frustrating to navigate through. But, if you need the scoop on forthcoming fright flicks, patience pays off here."
I tried to take a pic with my cell but the glare kept blurring everything :shrugs: But this is what it says word for word.

I think this site is easy to navigate through.

I always thought it was easy to navigate as well, maybe I should do some more tweaking. My goal for the site has always been to offer the most information on horror flicks as possible, plus make it easy to navigate through. Perhaps the content may be too much for new readers, especially on the main page :hmmm:
What issue was this on?

It's not the Drag Me To Hell cover, so I'm guessing #88.
Know what I've always wanted! I'll tell you. A section of the movies that have been based on books... or just "based on" in general. Other than that I can't think of how this place could be considered cluttered... then again I've been keeping up with UHM since high school so a lot of us probably wouldn't notice things like that like a new-comer would.
how is this site cluttered??

There's just so much to look at on the main page, I guess that could be what they mean by cluttered. But as for finding movies, it's really easy to navigate through.

Cluttered WTF
A little FM, not bad for adults to navigate through I would say, it's harder for kids 10 - 16 yrs. old.
Remember I told you a little while back that my nephew found it hard to navigate through the site when you added a few things to the main page and was intimidated by the message board? Took him a short while to get the hang of things.
(he's no longer allowwed to visit thanx to my sis :D)

Just took a hard look at the main page again and the guy at RM may have mistaken "clutter" for information. There is tons of info here and it is all well organized that is why this place is getting the recognition is deserves.

Well, either way, I'm gonna have to make it slightly easier for the noobz, so I'm working on some tweaks on the main page :hmmm:

Maybe you should have a page with instructions for the computer challenged people :D

At one point I did have a FAQ page :D
Aight, I changed the main page a lil', mostly just added a twitter update page since it looks a lot better than how I originally had it.
It occurred to me that the "clutter" the author might've been talking about is due to the text google ads I have right underneath the menu. I have that there to trick people into clicking them :shifty:
