Cmurdur requested earlier that there be a popup alert when a new private message is received, which occurred to me that the option is already available.

If you go to User CP and Edit Options, under Messaging & Notification there will be an option to checkmark Show New Private Message Notification Pop-up.

The alert will show up if you refresh the page or browse the forum, but I don't think it will pop-up if you're just in one page, I.E. chat, unless you refresh the page. Either way, it should give you a better head's up about PM's :thumbup3:

I thought you automatically got a pop up message and had to uncheck it if you DIDN'T want it. I never had to check my box.

I guess it's good to inform members on as much as you can about the board.

Board practically runs itself.
chatroom is MUCH better. No lag.

I already had this option selected, but thanks again for letting us all know. :thumbup3:

If you use Windows Messenger, new E-mails will pop-up automatically when you receive them. You'll know you'll get new alerts from the board since it will say that you've received a new E-mail message from UHM.

That's my pop-up PM.

Where some big notifier pops up automatically, without you having to refresh anything. Not some pull down chooser, but a small window.

Not possible unless the page would refresh itself automatically like the chat does, but that would use up too much bandwidth.
