Here are lists of current changes the site has at the moment and what it will implement before its launch to the public:

Available Now:

Account registrations.
Star Rating system for all Reviews.
Ability to comment in reviews, news, and movie pages.
Avatars.
Search engine.
A Top 20 Rated Reviews list.
Latest Updates tab on the main page (currently only showing Recent Reviews and Recent Activity).
Smilies within comments.
Users can "watch posts" giving them the ability to be emailed update notifcations for movie pages and will be shown when a page has new comments in their My Watched Posts panel.

Coming Soon:

First letter of a movie title alphabetical listing (currently seen inactive next to the search engine).
Category listings for all Reviews (I.E. Giallo, Zombies, Asian Horror).
Category listings for Movie pages (I.E. Supernatural, Demons, Killers).
A Similar Movies listing, for when users visit a review or movie page they will also be shown a list of similar-themed films.
More customizable and better-looking profile pages.
New Image Gallery that will enable users to vote and comment on new or old pictures.
A proper Videos directory showcasing the latest trailers and clips.

There's still a lot that needs to be done, as the design is still unfinished. I also still need to start working on a template for the Movie pages, as it will differ quite a bit from the Review pages.

Will we lose all our profile comments in the change over?

Doesn't seem likely that I'll be able to integrate the board and the site together, so the board will remain unaffected by the switch, however, viewers will need a separate account with the site if they want to comment or rate films.

I'm close to finalizing the layout for the movie pages. Soon I will have an open beta for everyone to finally check out the site and offer their comments and suggestions. Plus it will give viewers a chance to familiarize themselves with the site's new features and what-not, so when it does finally go public, the transition will go smoothly for them :thumbup3:

"A Similar Movies listing, for when users visit a review or movie page they will also be shown a list of similar-themed films."

I think that feature will be awesome for visitors new to the genre, since places like Amazon and Netflix can give you lame "similar titles".

It's kinda cool, it actually lists the similarity percentage next to the title too.

Just finished adding a rotating banner to the front page that will feature the most interesting articles and updates. Now I just need to finalize the look of the movie pages, which seems to be the hardest obstacle for me thus far :whew:

You can ignore the Movie Title alphabetical listing for the time being since it's only there for show.
