Alison Lohman star of 'Drag Me to Hell' bombed during an interview for a local talk radio show Big O and Dukes. She did so badly they wouldn't put it on the air. I found the podcast on the website and was blown away by how clueless she was about Sam Raimi's previous work and said she loved Spiderman but didn't like Evil Dead and had to have her boyfriend explain the movie to her.:xplode:

My desire to see this movie had been steadily declining but now it is completely gone. The two guys ripping on it after she hung up was hilarious, "truck stops of silence", ha!

And I agree with frightie, I would do shit to that little chick that I wouldn't tell you guys about:mrpervert:

She probably thinks that Spider-Man 3 is an achievement in film.

If we enjoy a movie that has a woman being raped by a tree, we are all a little mad. :D

Ditto, but maybe those scenes that would have made it R will be included on a directors cut

You're letting an actress' real life ignorance determine the worth of her performance? Mind you, I've heard the film is at best 'alright', I wouldn't not go see it because the cast is ignorant of a directors past work. It's not like he's got a huge body of films to his name anyway.

Also, what FrighT said.

Where did you hear this from?

DMTH has a 95% positive review from Rotten Tomatoes with 111 positive reviews and only 5 negative. Pretty much everyone has been raving about this movie so I find it odd that you say you heard this movie was at best 'alright'.

I'll have a very positive review soon on the site.

I didn't listen to the whole thing, but it sounded like a normal interview to me. So she didn't know anything about evil and his "horor status". Shes a girl, most all of them don't know and don't care (not that their aren't a few chicks out their that actually do rock). Like I said, sounded like a typical interview to me.

Why would you base your decision on wether to see this movie on the actor not knowing about evil dead? Their actors. Their not hired because their fanboys. Their hired because their actors. I personally thinks this movie liks "eh" and I'll see it eventually.
