I hope someone can help me with this one. I am looking for the title on this one. It is about a group of , I think college profs and students...They go to a house to investigate I think. They get trapped in the house, and bad things happen to them. In some of the scenes I remember, a man saws off half of his hand with a power saw trying to get out the front door. Another, a woman gets electrocuted when a dead body sits up and she gets scared and jumps back into an electrified window. These are the only things I can remember. If anyone can help...Thanks indeed.

Nightwish... isn't that a band? The movie I think is from the 70's or early 80's.

Well it was a movie first,from the mid 80's I think.
And it was about a college professor and his students investigating a haunted house,so I thought it might be the movie you are looking for-and this movie was a trip!

I've seen it, I think it's 'The Legend of Hell House'.

It's not Legend of Hell House with the scenes that hes described. There were no electrocutions and no one cut off half his hand trying to get out.

I would have said Nightwish, but here again it's been ruled out because of the time frame given. Nightwish came out in 1989

Not a college professor and students, but a couple and their friends remodel a house, that they become trapped inside. Several people are electrocuted in it, but I don't remember if anyone cuts their hand off.
