Drive-in Horror Movie

I watched this movie sometime in the early 1980s (possibly mid 1980s). It had these flying brown creatures (like big sand dollars about the side of a hand) that when they landed on people they sucked their blood. I don't know much about the movie because when I was a kid I was watching it at the drive-in movie theatre and it was the movie being shown on the other screen. So I watched it with no sound.

I think your right. I completely passed on this movie the first time because I didn't think an alien was involved. I saw some clips on Youtube which I saw the disks and those look like the things I remembered.
