Water creature film? dont know how else to put it

Tryin to figure out a movie I saw years ago about a group of college kids going out for a swim in a lake or pond being stalked and killed by a water dwelling black goo, only to be stranded on a floating dive raft in the middle of the lake? Any help would be appreciated. Sorry I can't recall anymore details accept theres one apparent survivor at the end.
