How do I feel about girls liking horror movies?

What am I 13 years old? :die:

All the ladies I know for the most part love horror films...just not the really hardcore gory ones.

The only girls that i know that are into horror are my mom and my sis. I know a couple of girls that will watch, but only if they're bf's make them.
My nieces (Ages 10 and 14) also like horror - kind of runs in the immediate family.
My roommate refuses to watch horror. She can't stand it.
I love a girl that can sit through a good horror and actually enjoy it. I can see from the female UHMers that they're out there, but i just can't find any nearby...

I love horror movies. Thats all I do is watch carnage and creeps. And listen to murder music. People tell me to grow up and stop with all this juvenile horror stuff. It isn't for the ladies. Then, they go turn on the news at 6 oclock and stare serious at the REAL sht. Go figure. MMFWCL

I always dug horror films..the excitiment , the blood, the gore. Give me a serial killer over a lovey dovey love story anytime. This was a problem for me in HS..the guys would shy away from me, thinking I was a bit odd for wanting to see someones throat slashed then a love themed comedy ...go figure :shrugs:

I like a girl who can diversify what she watches. From Gore films to Art house, Disney Flix to Romance/Comedies. I don't want a girl just confined to one genre, but one who branches out in search of new and pleasurable viewing experiences. And I think I found that girl..

Actually, I'm looking for a girl who I can show my love of horror with. One of the girls I had been seeing said "The Exorcist is too scary to watch"..the other one almost fell asleep to Cabin Fever. I don't know what to do anymore. Girls are dumb :)

NOthing like being told to fast forward through the gore or the scares. Can't count howmany times i've heard 'I can't believe you watch this stuff...' or 'I can't watch this, put on (place dumb ass romantic comedy here)...'

Most of the girls I know don't like horror because of the gore and scares. My girlfriend loves horror but there are times where some scenes she will turn her head away. If I could only get her to play video games she would be perfect heh heh.

My wife and I were talking today about Shayamalan doing the Avatar movie.

Her response was, "I'd rather watch Troma movies than anything Shayamalan does."

Not a single woman I've talked to likes horror. A few even said "Oh, I think they're dumb" or "boring". Scardy bitches. Come to think of it, I've only been with 1 or 2 real women; others were just a bunch dumb little twats who probably only see horror as asome bad excuse to text in a theater or something. The only female who likes horror as close as I is mom, and that's a problem.

If i'm not watching horror alone i'm watching with my mom. Hell she's the reason i'm into horror. She's kinda odd though. She's really more into gore than scares. my mom's a little creepy.

I guess I'm lucky then. My wife loves horror movies. She doesn't shy away from gore or get freaked out or anything. She actually has an appreciation for great makeup and special effects. Even when it comes to Halloween costumes she wants something bloody or scary. It pisses her off that 95% of women's costumes are sexy ___.

Heeeey =[ lol

Anywaaaays, I love Horror movies. Infact, I have more horror movies than I do anything else, but I don't limit myself to a specific genre.
I watch anything and everything that I find interesting.
Same goes for music.

i am the same way i own lots of movies mostly horror but i love all movies. and my music collection looks like someone just went through the music store with a shopping cart and grabbed one of everything, even though my fav is metal.

I met my wonderful girlfriend because of C.H.U.D. and we share our love of horror by watching all kinds of movies and she is more into obscure movies than I am, we love going to conventions and watching anything with gore and hopefully nudity

I know what you mean about chicks not liking horror for the most part. I'm lucky, my girl is just as obsessed as horror movies as I am.

I entered a drawing online to win her a Clive Barker autographed copy of Midnight Meat Train and WON!!!

I was her favorite person for the rest of the week.

I myself being a huge horror fan and a female can say that I have a lot of friends who are females that do not like horror, like my best friend won't watch them they upset her, but I can't imagine my life without them.

Actually, most guys thought I was weird for liking horror, so after awhile I kinda kept the obsession to myself. And my love of Cobra, and all things Stallone. At least now I found someone I can share it with. :kissy:

my daughters are going to be the next gen of female uhmers. my old man gives me a hard time about that, saying i have corrupted them. (my youngest wants to marry darth vader right now). and i do feel kinda bad for that because i know how hard it was trying to find a guy. some guys love the idea of watching horror with girls because they get scared and its a chance to be full of his smooth moves, but when the girl is all hey back off i wanna see this, they get kinda mad. just from my own experiences tho

I'm a girl and I HATE disney movies!

I love horror movies. Just saw a really good one that debuted in LA & NYC on Friday called Grace... omg soooo ridiculous. It's majority female cast, about girly parts (all about breastfeeding and babies... weird, right, if it's a horror flick!?)

But still soooo well done. The baby only eats human blood, so she basically devours the mom. Super sick. Super AWESOME

Sorry, ain't got no smooth moves (I know how disappointed all you ladies are hearing that...) and when i'm watching a flick it's because i want to watch it. So when i'm watching a horror with a girl it's time to sit back and chill, watch a few people die horribly at laugh at it together. My ex hated horror, but only cuz it scared the crap out of her (which she sort of enjoyed, otherwise she wouldn't have kept watching) and the fun was in watching her react to the movie.
:movies:playing grab ass can wait till the credits role...

I agree with woodenheart.. give me a horror movie over a love story any day. My boyfriend thinks I'm a little strange but he just deals with it. He likes the horror films too but not quite as much. He'd rather see things blown up or people doing martial arts than see them die a slow bloody death. Go figure.
